A Full Cup- A Great Resource!

Last night I had the fun of being able to attend a site-warming party at Twitter to celebrate the new look and feel of A Full Cup. I had never visited this website before, but let me tell you, it's going to make my life so much easier!

This website has it all for couponers and deal seekers. It's packed with shopping lists full of deals and steals at all the big grocery store chains, coupon databases, and even has a section where you can print Target coupons from! They have the schedule for which coupons are to be released in the paper and a place to trade coupons with others! I have yet to make my grocery list based off this website, but I have a strong feeling it should cut my prep time for grocery shopping at least in half! They even match up any available coupons to the current sales!

Please go ahead and check them out at A Full Cup! To maximize your use of the site, register for free with them.

(And no, I'm not being paid to write this review of them! )

Fridays Frugal Find- recreating what you already have!

This week's Friday's Frugal Find is compliments of my husband! We bought a house last year and have been working long hard hours at remodeling the inside. One wall is rather large and in need of a large piece of furniture. We decided we would like to make that section of the house into a sitting area with a bookcase. After searching online for a large bookcase, we decided it would be much more economical (aka frugal) for my husband to build one himself.

Not only does building anything yourself take time, but it costs money as well. After searching through our garage, my husband came up with enough scrap wood to make a beautiful bookcase that would fit our spot perfectly and be designed exactly as we would want it! So, something that would have cost us over $300 to buy brand new, cost us less than $60 to build ourselves. All we needed to buy was one sheet of wainscoting, some primer, two knobs for the doors on the base of the bookcase, three magnets for the doors, angle braces, and one 1X6X10in board.

Find more great ideas for a Frugal Friday at Life as Mom.

What about you? Have you been able to recreate anything from items you have laying around the house? Please share in the comments section!

New Coupons for April!

April is here! That means a new batch of coupons is available on my sidebar or at Coupons.com. (The coupon bar on the side of my blog contains all the coupons you would find at Coupons.com making it easier for you to acquire them, esp. when I refer to them. And, unfortunately, if you reach your coupon limit from my blog sidebar, you can not print more from Coupons.com or vice versa).

Happy Savings!
